Awkwafina

Awkwafina began as a American performer and rapper, releasing sly tracks that tackled issues such as racial and sexuality with a humorous twist. In the years before she stepped to Hollywood, she was able to perform a variety of tracks. Nora Lum began her musical journey as a trumpet player. She was born in Forest Hills Queens, she was the child of Chinese immigrants as well as Koreans. In the following years, she took up hip-hop and classical training. At college, she was studying journalism and women's studies. She even spent an hour studying Mandarin in Beijing. When she graduated, she started to pursue music as her main focus. Her song My Vag which was her response to the Mickey Avalon song My Dick, became a huge hit across the Internet and eventually appeared on her debut LP Yellow Ranger. The album also featured popular hits, including the body positive Queef and winking hometown tour NYC Bitche$1. The latter track was linked to Awkwafina's NYC Travel Guide for 2015, which was a travel guide. The resume of her included musicians and an author. She was now looking to expand her career into acting. Alongside early shows such as Girl Code, Tawk and Bad Rap she also appeared in movies such as Neighbors as well as Storks. In the year 2018 she got several notable roles including Dude Ocean 8 and Crazy Rich Asians. She released the EP, in Fina We Trust in June of the year.
