Since the show's debut in 2010, Sheets has been associated with the show. His charismatic presence and his background as a veteran of auctions for storage have made him one the most popular actors of the series. Along with his son Brandon Sheets, he participates in the show. In the show, stored items, which aren't claimed by the owners of storage lockers that have rent that hasn't been paid for 3 months, are auctioned off to potential buyers. Sheets a veteran storage hunter, decided to give it a go. His son Brandon even though he's not as skilled as his father , has exceptional skills in storage hunting, accompanies his father. Darrell is known as "The Gambler" because he's not afraid of playing the odds when bidding. The ability to take risks makes him an skilled storage hunter to be reckoned with.
